G.C.S.E. - The Bahá'í Faith and Christianity

About the Bahá'í Faith Edxcel

BREA is encouraging those interested in the Baha’i Faith to take the GCSE jointly developed by Brent LSA and EdExcel.  The syllabus number has changed this year, and the units are now called:

  • 5RS01 Religion and Life based on a study of Christianity and at least one other religion
  • 5RS08 Religion and Society based on a study of Christianity and at least one other religion
It is advised that you choose the Baha’i Faith for your other religion
  • Religion and Life centres upon personal teachings
  • Religion and Society centres upon social teachings
We advise taking the 2 hour papers, the non-coursework option.  You may take one paper at a time if you like, and aggregate your results over two years.
